Born in Saintes, France, the mezzo-soprano Anne-Sophie Vincent is a trained athlete who as a young child specialized in equestrian sports.
Her love of classical music and opera led her to pursue singing and build a strong international career.
Recent highlights include singing her first Carmen at the Grand Opera de Jeju (South Korea) as well as Angelina, the title role in Rossini's Cenerentola, a family-friendly presentation of the opera at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées conducted by Alphonse Cemin.
In 2023-2024 Anne-Sophie sings the role of Siebel
in Gounod's Faust with La Fabrique Opéra de Grenoble, and makes her debut at Opéra de Toulon with the roles of both Myrtale and Albine in Massenet's Thaïs under the baton of Victorien Vanoosten. Anne-Sophie had previously made a highly praised last minute jump-in learning Myrtale overnight for the Opéra de Tours under the baton of Michel Plasson.
Previous appearances include the title role in Rossini's family-friendly adaptation of Cenerentola
at the Opéra de Bordeaux and the Opéra de Rouen; her debut at Opéra National de Lorraine singing Dorothée in Massenet's Cendrillon, conducted by Jean-Marie Zeitouni and directed by David Hermann.
As well as Princess Nicolette in Prokofiev's The Love of Three Oranges
with conductor Marie Jacquot in Anna Bernreitner's marvelous production, nominated by the Opernwelt magazine for Best Opera Production.

Anne-Sophie returns to singing her beloved Carmen for the Festival des Nuits Lyriques at the Théâtre de Marmande,
and makes her debut at the Teatro Calderon in Valladolid in Spain singing the role of Marc the Twin in Debussy's Le Martyre de Saint Sébastien, conducted by Andrès Salado and staged by La Fura dels Baus.
She has also performed the roles of Bessie in Kurt Weill's Mahagonny Songspiel, Judith in Bartok's Bluebeard's castle, Boulotte in Offenbach's Barbe Bleue, as well as Debussy's La Récitante in La Damoiselle Élue in Québec.
An alumni of the Abbaye de Royaumont’s programme
or emerging artists she sang Mme Cortese in their production of Rossini's Il viaggio a Reims conducted by Carlos Aragon and directed by Stefan Grögler.
Anne-Sophie’s praised performances at the Académie Maurice Ravel
led her to sing for the Palazzetto Bru Zane Company at the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord in Paris.
She sang Rosina, the lead role, in a concert version of Rossini's Il Barbiere di Seviglia at the Minsk Opera in Belarus, conducted by Alexander Anisimov.
Anne-Sophie is a frequent recitalist and has toured in Quebec, Bordeaux, Marmande and Paris. The more intimate recital format is very dear to her generous artistic soul and serves her appetite for storytelling through music.
Anne-Sophie completed her opera studies at the CRR de Bordeaux with the prestigious and unanimous Congratulations honors degree. She was a member of the Modena Theater Young Artist Program in Italy.
She won the First Prize in Opera at the Concours International de Marseille, as well as the Third Prize in Opéra, the First Prize in Mélodie and the Minsk Opera Award at the Concours International de Marmande.
